Get Back to School Ready like a PRO!

Updated: Jul 31, 2021

Yep! It's that time of year again! Seems like summer just began but here we are already gearing up for back to school! My kids are on a year round school schedule so our summer is likely way shorter than yours seeing as we only get a one month break total. However, the summer goes by so quickly no matter what your schedule is and it's always good to get ahead right?

As a professional organizer, I know the importance of setting up systems that will set you up for success. So, I have compiled a quick list that helps us stay on track to start each school year on the right foot. Because the last thing you want is to get behind before the year even starts.

Here it is, the Neatly Embellished Back to School Checklist for those that want an organized start to the new school year.

Now, I am sure you all will tweak this to fit your unique needs but I hope that it brings some clarity to the families that really need some direction. No matter where you are in your parenting journey, it never hurts to try something new.

As a retired teacher, I will tell you that completing these tasks will also make your child's new teacher jump for joy! Especially that last point about LABELING! You would never be able to understand the drama a lost lunchbox or sweatshirt could bring if you have never been a teacher. Lol As a matter of fact, a first day of school teacher gift is also a good idea if you can swing it.

If you appreciate these tips, be sure to subscribe to my email list for more occasional tips and tricks and of course, follow my social media channels for the latest and greatest from Neatly Embellished!

Last tip, if you're struggling to get systems going and need help, reach out to us for a consultation. Getting your home in order is always the best foundation to success in all areas of your life. Invest in your peace this year. You will be glad you did!

Cheers,
